Preparation process is one of the most important steps for success and longevity of indirect restorations. We can’t achieve perfect margins and fit without good quality preps.

Our minimally invasive set includes 9 high quality Swiss-made burs.

Deep markers-2pcs for controlled marking of the occlusal surface.

Separator-for separating the teeth.

Round bur – for cervical marking of the finishing line.

Reductor (safe tip bur) which allows to control reduction of enamel and dentine, prevents damaging of soft tissues and margins in the working area.

Polishing cylinders-3pcs with different diameters (white, yellow, red) for smoothing surface and removing undercuts.

Rugby bur – for controlled marking and over preparation of palatal or lingual surfaces (incisors, canines).

*All burs are marked with purple colour ring as an indication of one set which makes sterilization process easier.

1^a deep marker (one purple ring) – bur used for occlusal surface to mark the depth of 1.2 mm (for metal-free crowns (Emax etc)

1^b deep marker (two purple rings) – bur used for occlusal surface to mark the depth of 1.6 mm (for metal ceramics (PFM) and high aesthetic crowns (Emax and zirconium with ceramic on top)

2 separator – bur used for separating the contact surface. It is very thin bur with 0.7 mm diameter which allows not to damage neighbouring teeth.

3 round – bur used to mark cervical area for shamfer without difficulties. This small diameter bur allows safe marking clockwise around the tooth.

4 reductor – is a course bur with safe tip. It designed for the groove (leading line) previously prepared by the round bur. It cuts off excessive hard tissues during prep. Safety tip designed to control the depth and it never goes deeper or damages the groove marked by the round bur previously. Also it’s very safe for surrounding soft tissues.

5^a,b,c cylinder – burs coloured (white, yellow, red) with 1.1 mm, 1.2mm and 1.3 mm diameters are designed for smoothing the surface, removing undercuts.

6 rugby – special bur used for marking and preparation palatal or lingual surfaces of incisors and canines.
